During a workshop with Gary, there is laughter and singing, tears and healing. Illusion is stripped away, relationship formed. The work is hard. Gary tells us that the Red Road is a narrow and exacting path. But whether we choose to walk it with Gary for the space of a workshop, for the timeless time of a Sweat Lodge ceremony, or as our chosen Path, if our intentions and energies are aligned in a good way, it is a road to our greater selves, to Spirit, and to joy.
The Healing Circle Ceremony is an opportunity to experience healing through the use of traditional native and Shamanic techniques. Requests for physical, mental, spiritual or emotional healing can be met in the sacred space that is created. The length of the ceremony depends on the number of people asking for healing and may last several hours.
An offering of tobacco is expected from those who come for healing. It is customary for women to wear dresses or skirts. Drums and rattles are welcomed and may be used at the direction of the ceremonial leader.
Gary Adler FourStar is a Pipe Carrier, Lodge Keeper, Sun Dancer, Spiritual Advisor and teacher in the traditional ways of the Ohlone and Assiniboine nations. He has dedicated his life to the creation of community and right relationship Gary will also be available for personal sessions by appointment.
Traditional healers do not set a fee for their services. Each one who has received a blessing expresses their gratitude with an offering that reflects the value of the services they have received.
